CONSULTANT - APPLICATION ARCHITECT:
The Eclipsys Consultant is responsible for preserving architecture
and system integrity for mission critical clinical applications.
The Eclipsys Consultant works with the Information Technology
Directors, Project Managers, and Departmental/Functional Managers,
coordinating project design and implementation activities to comply
with the clinical system architecture plan, information system
strategy, application interface requirements, and the patient
care process. The Eclipsys Consultant is responsible for participation
in the design of test scenarios, the installation process and
ensuring timely conversion of systems. The Eclipsys Consultant
job requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
field. Masters degree preferred. The Eclipsys Consultant job requires
a minimum 8 years of progressive IT application system experience,
with at least 5 years in managing large-scale, mission critical
information systems.
The Eclipsys Consultant job requires experience as a technical
and/or application architect in an Eclipsys environment. The Eclipsys
Consultant must have sufficient technical depth to communicate
with customers, product development, and other internal organizations
at a peer level as well as convey technical concepts to non-technical
individuals. The Eclipsys Consultant must have an understanding
of the workflow within a healthcare organization and excellent
project management skills.
The Eclipsys Consultant must have excellent written and oral communications
skills including the ability to grasp and translate technical
terminology into understandable terms for users and physicians

CONSULTANT - CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST
The Eclipsys Consultant is responsible for clinical support
of the sales team in all areas: discovery activities during
the sales cycle, clinically focused demonstrations of the product,
and system consulting. The Eclipsys Consultant supports and
assists the sales, product development and implementation teams
as the voice of the end-user for Premise's Patient Throughput
solutions. The Eclipsys Consultant must have significant hospital
background, patient flow experience preferred. The Eclipsys
Consultant provides high levels of professional services by
ensuring that prospects and clients receive appropriate best
practice advice and education to meet their needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of The Eclipsys Consultant:
The Eclipsys Consultant enhances the sales cycle by working
closely w/ sales manager to provide clinical expertise, ensuring
an individualized presentation of the demonstration to potential
clients. The Eclipsys Consultant provides process-focused consultative
services to prospects, new and existing clients to ensure optimal
knowledge of the software. The Eclipsys Consultant job can include:
